More animal types, I specifically have always wanted bat villagers because I think theyd be cute in that art style. I bet there are some other cute animals they could throw in.
I think they could continue the curation element, making the mechanics a little better for making your town more your own. Online trading and selling stuff could be cool but might kill the collecting element.
