Where was i complaining about AoS? I just stated that from Mordheim to Vermintide to Total Warhammer, since GW said 'fuck you' to the tabletop it's been getting some seriously great games that have introduced more people than ever to the setting.

Now that i think about it though, i'd be pretty pissed if i tried to get into Fantasy now and find it all borked up and about some interdimensional god king fighting across the 9 plains of reality.

Also, if we're comparing it so a game from 2004 the first DoW had the same amount of content as the base game (4 races) with no DLC, and had expansions for single races. Which face it, they were the equivalent of modern day DLC. I don't know how much the expansions were back in the day, but I'm guessing that they were more than their current $13 price point.

Skaven will be a race in TW2. It's probably fucking Chaos or that Clan Agrund / Laughing Moon pack.

Also in all likelyhood Skaven will exist on a secondary map beneath the main world, being capable of taking dwarf holds / temple cities only (if they stick with that race locked to X zones mechanic).

Ive played it, i even desperately wanted to like it cause the various races and units do look awesome.

But its all style over substance. Theres barely anything to do on the campaign map, and the battles are 5 minute clusterfucks where most those cool units evaporate on either side.

You end up playing turn after turn, waiting and hoping that there will be this awesome encounter where you will feel your best dudes and an epic battle will ensue, but it never comes.
