The next Fallout Bethesda does whenever that decides to appear needs to combine the good elements of FO3 and NV and less of the Sims bullshit we got in FO4 (which to be fair I still enjoyed playing, I just didn't see the point of the settlement building. It was cool to build a personal base though).

Saying that I'd love to see Obsidian do another West coast FO, San Francisco as a setting maybe?

As great as New Vegas was, none of the DLC was good. Only Dead Money even comes close to being decent, everything else was half-assed and unfinished (Honest Hearts, Lonesome Road), or outright bad (OWB).

NV fucking sucked and there was way too much walking and dead air and inventory bloat

Agreed. /v/ loves to find arguments proving why FO3 was a shit game, but despite most of them being true, it was still pretty damn fine and enjoyable, at least for me, and I like to replay it from time to time. NV is better in almost every aspect, but FO3 did the whole post-apocalyptic wasteland feel much better(yeah, I know that Fallout isn't exactly supposed to be like that, but I like it nevertheless) I also personally feel that in terms of atmosphere and stylistics it's closer to FO1 than any other game in the series.

vault 11 proves you false on your spooky atmosphere with vampires and other stupid shit. Exploring was boring as hell and no cool special weapons to be collected. Only enemies you would encounter were raiders and ghouls. Fallout 3 has mothership zeta, that alone makes it terrible.

literally no fallout game has ever bene good and it goes to show how garbage NV is that the only positive thing you can say about it is "I-it's better than FO3!" (which is just TODD REEE memery anyway)
