I work at a pawn shop and, for almost two years, people have been trading in their XBones for PS4s. We almost never have PS4s in stock for longer than a day and always have people asking for them. All this is despite the fact that we sell XBones for 20 bucks cheaper.

They've sold better now than before, but the demand for PS4 is still significantly higher. Last year before Christmas we ended up sending most our our XBones to our other locations in town. Christmas actually helped sell them because parents will biy their kids whatever stupid shit they want. Half a year later and we still can't keep PS4s on the shelf while we tend to have at least 5+ XBones in backstock. Hell, PS3s and 360s have more demand here than the XBones do.

Honestly the applause during the MS con yesterday was underwhelming. It's nothing to go by of course but there have been more cheers for lesser projects in the past.
