Bethesda did not make any announcements for titles beyond 2017. Everything they announced is for 2017 only, unlike the other shows where they announce for 2018 or beyond. Honestly, Bethesda is the only company that seems to be doing E3 correctly - it's "E3 2017" not "E3 2018 -- 20xx ?"

They are more than likely working on Starfield, as well as TES:VI. Starfield is more ambitious, and will come before it, and TES:VI will rely on more future tech, and be far more ambitious than all previous titles. All of this will happen, just not at E3 2017.

The press conference was only like 40 min long. Maybe they decided to not show Starfield last minute?
