Well, neither of those things are true for the current BC games so I'm not sure why you would assume it would be for these. As for XBL support, you are probably right there. The service went offline five years ago and I doubt they'd go through a bunch of hoops to resurrect it and then maintain it just for a few hundred people playing old games.
