Modern games really mess with you like that. They just more or less subtly hold your hand through EVERY SINGLE THING, both the things that challenge your dex and your int. yeah if i remember correctly the first prologue and first act are kinda boring but the game quickly picks up and can get a bit overwhelming.

dont feel too bad if you have to stop every once in a while and wiki a character/faction/location. it only adds to the experience. I believe theres also an in-game encyclopedia if im not mistaken?
