The 360 compatible titles aren't running from the disc but you have to download the tuned version form Xbox Live.

Luckily NGB ran at 60, pretty solid as well, if I recall. It will just be upscaled, but just being able to play without having to drag out the og Xbox or 360 (as it was compatible on that as well) will be nice.

You can. It depends on how the game (mostly physics) engine itself works with framerate and delta time. NGB had framerate slowdowns, and the engine didn't go wacky. It should be fine if they change some hex values for a higher framerate limit or something.
