I'd say FEAR is overrated, although it gets relatively better with each year seeing how the FPS industry has gone to shit.

I'd say Deus Ex is more unique mechanically, while Vampires offer great narrative and atmosphere. Both are miles ahead of what has been developed for the past 15 years.

I guess this is a good time to ask about Redemption but.. my holy mace doesn't do anything to szlachta, why is that? I thought that a monster made out of something would be killed by holy damage, or at the very least the weight of a mace.

Also, iirc someone's cooking up a werewolf game, and a D&D game. I don't know how it will be like, but I thought you might be interested.

It's a bland mediocre game that entry-level fedoracore hipsters praise to high heavens just to differentiate themselves from ledditors, but I suppose I can appreciate people rooting for the underdog.

The games only redeeming factor is that it is able to capture the WoD atmosphere. Out of all the criticism you can associate here bland hardly applies. Unless you meant the game play was bland because that is entirely true. Also Troika was a money hemorrhaging shitfest. All in all it's "Cult classic" sort of game it's very flawed but scratched the itch of the niche quite well. The story was decent as well.
