Are Mila and Duma metaphors for Liberalism and Conservatism? Is this game centrist propaganda?

Idk. Discipline and indulgence have been opppsed aspects of the human experience since long before contemporary politics took shape.
I would say it might have something to do with the nationalist surge in Japan, but this is literally an old game's story redone, and I don't know if that's applicable.
It seems to map onto conservative and liberal in the contemporary American context in that one side is [red] and kind of more militant, and the other is [blue] and vaguely artisitic?
All in all, it's a bit shallow to be allegorical, but I see what you mean.

Also, you might as well use progressivism and conservatism. Liberal is an immensely vague word. American Republicans and Democrats are both liberal. In fact, Republicans should qualify as more liberal, since individual rights are their shtick, or so they say.
Conservatism is a mental disease.
