Final Fantasy Versus XIII

Noctis killed Stella as a child.
Shes just a hallucination. Game ends with you finding out she was dead all along and her brother was trying to kill you to avenger her. Thats why he worked with Niflhiem even though they were taking over the world and he became right hand man, he still had his own agenda. Oh and even if the scale was smaller they would have definetly fleshed out the characters.

Lucis in the end should be destroyed and taken over with Noctis family dead, but he escapes after the invasion intro, trains, and grows his abilities till hes ready to take it all back. Somewhat like the current XV plot except you would go through the game killing higher ups in the niflhiem army, Actual KH2FM like boss fights. Oh and an actual final boss like etro or something

It would crush the fanboys but that's actually interesting. Not the most original since FFX already did it but it could be much more emotional experiencing it from the male side.

You mean XV crew made an actual game and fixed the trash that was wrong with Versus, by giving it an actual story and creating an actual game that existed, making the characters likeable and putting better girls in the game. XV is as much a "fantasy based on reality" as it ever was, the country side stuff was always in the game, you literally see them driving in leide desert back in the 2008 trailer.

Versus was going to have the FF13 lcie falcie shit so the story we got in XV is a million times better than whatever Versus was.

Oh, and I agree with this 100%. I actually wouldn't mind if it wasn't a save the world adventure, but a more personal adventure this time, where there's still a massive event like a war going on but the characters are just swept in it rather than determining the outcome. It could just end with Insomnia being completely taken over by the enemy but with Noctis managing to kill the major perpetrators of the war.

XV is shit, dude. The good parts of it is where it actually looks like it's pulling off the concepts from Versus XIII.

Yeah, there was countryside stuff in the original concept too, but considering the prominence of urban areas seemed to suggest that when referring to "fantasy based on reality".
