Well, MS has no idea what "exclusive" means any more. Also out of all the games they showed only a small handful looked worthwhile. So sure their stupid naming team is running at full power and they have tons of indies and shit, but it's almost all stuff you can play somewhere else, either on PC or a different console. It was a lot of "look, games, please buy our console! Netflix lovers and casuals with kids won't so now we must have games to sell on our video game console."

The best part of the whole thing was the Xbox backwards compatibility. Not the new shiny things or the cars or cringe. Being able to play old games on your new system was the best goddamn thing they announced.

EA is supposedly giving away free DLC now, we'll see how long that lasts. I mainly gave them slightly above a D- because of that co-op only game A Way Out, it's a long shot but it may spark a renaisance of couch co-op focused games. local split-screen, free DLC, and campaign for that shitty star wars game is a slight improvement overall compared to previous E3s.

i don't actually care about 90% of the games they showed, but I do like that format they've done the past two years. its basically just one game after the other with phil spencer talking a little bit. no bullshit skits, minimal amount of talking with devs/designers (especially ones who can't into english), minimal shilling of shit that isn't games or consoles (fuck off with that movie and tv shit, sony).

they just need to work on getting actually good games

I already have a decent enough laptop that can do actual work, and the only PC games I play is the RTS genre which is dead. So again, why drop $800+ on a new PC when I can just get this console?

The vast majority of xbone games are headed to PC as well. So if it's true that you only play RTS on PC I guess that also means you aren't interested in any xbone games. Also there exists the slim possibility for future RTS games, xbone doesn't even have that.

It's an investment you drop $800+ once and then you can upgrade individual parts over the years as you need to. With the xbone parts will get outdated but you can't do shit about it except wait for the new Xbox One X2.
