Asscreed is a single player game, so piracy/sales/cheat engine pretty much gives you the best experience possible without costing a ton, if the console population pay for the quick unlocks and fund more games then that's fine by me

the problem is when they start making multiplayer only games like the crew/rainbow6, that's the point I drop the franchise, still those 2 are far from valve level yet

I agree and hate how singleplayer is dying since I work shift work and had data cap internet for a short time. I just don't like the season pass pay increase and forcing a steel book to get the season pass. Now if they added exclusive items in real life stuff to the higher priced things I would be more ok with it, I mean for Far Cry 5 if you preorder you get a mug at gamestop, mugs are useful. But this just feels like trying to raise the price without negotiating.

syndicate had something jewy similar to this, you could earn xp faster with xp boost, ypu could buy these through real money or in game special currency, people who bought the gold edition or the season pass, one of them idk, could get infinite xp boost and level up faster, on a single player game...
i liked the skill tree stuff in syndicate but that shit was pointless, it wasn't hard to level up, it was like deus ex MD, waste of money and resources.

yes but it's not mind blowing or anything, it's a fun simple game if you have nothing else to play, it improves on a handful of bad design choices of Unity, only get it for dirt cheap.
the grapple hook keeps the climbing from getting super repetitive but doesn't make it obsolete either.
The true star of the show is the city, gorgeous world, the Thames is my favorite area in the game because you can parkour like a motherfucker.

and more Hitman like assassinations, something that unity stumbled a lot to make it work. nothing as deep as hitman but it's an obvious inspiration
