I dunno what MS is thinking. Lack of specs was a problem especially earlier in the gen but not the main problem. The main problem now is a huge lack of exclusives compared to Sony.

Take PC out of the equation, the majority of AAA-gamers don't care and as far as they are concerned it's PS4 or Xbox. Xbox has Gears and Halo. That's not enough compared to Sony constantly pushing out stuff like Horizon and Last of Us (yes you hate it but you're a /v/irgin who represents maybe 5% of gamers, E3 is a press conference and we're focusing on the industry as a whole) and then has console-exclusivity for most japanese stuff like Nier and Persona.

Microsoft's problem is that people don't feel like they're missing out on any games by choosing a PS4 over Xbox. Their response was to make a stronger Xbox, and I don't fucking get it.
