Probably a little bit of both.
On the one hand, you no longer feel like you have all the time in the world.
On the other hand, most games these days aren't really "games" so much as "simulations" if you know what I mean.

Video games are a time wasting medium more so than films or TV.
I honestly think it's a good thing to only be interested in 1 or 2 games.
