MS earned a lot, and I mean A FUCKING LOT of bad blood around here in the Kinect era of 360 and the initial reveal of Xbone. It used to be so bad that MS threads were next to nonexistent because you'd get laughed off the board if you tried back in like 2012. Now Spencer's coming back and for the most part pushing Xbox in a way that at the very least avoids the pitfalls of the early 10s but in also pushing for Win10 support, combined with the previously mentioned bad blood that's been accumulated they've yet to be fully redeemed from those snafus. Instead of being an abject disaster, the Xbone is now largely painted as pointless. Because my email attached to my xbox account was hacked and removed. Microsoft accused me of fraud and stealing games ( which I've never done ) and blocked my account for three months.
They realized it was their error and allowed me access to my account but my email for my account is gone and no matter how many times I talk to their help number they say I have not given them enough information for which I gave them all my information and they won't let me change my email account.
So I cannot access any of my account and if my console gets wiped or something everything I paid for is gone. This is the worst company I've ever bought a console from in my experience.

First off we dont know how powerful your console really is. All e3 is is hype. Each year people get excited and get fucked over. Second off i could buy a pc just as powerful for just as much. Now of course console optimization comes into play but i guarantee all of their promises of 4k 60fps ultra is bullshit. However 4k 60fps medium might be possible. And if so i could deffinitely rack up something that powerful for 500 dollars

The Xbox 360 really ruined the last gen. It didn't generate any new franchises, instead it generated paid online, DLC, achievements, advertisements on the home screen, and crippled exclusive games by making them multiplatform, so games that could have been good had to be downgraded to play on both systems.

Add to the fact that Xboxes are essentially just a botnet that collects your data, and it still doesn't have any exclusive games, and you're left with a Ybox. As in: "Y would you buy this shitty Box with no games?"

You must be new to this as a PR shill, so let me explain that most of /v/ aren't as gullible as you'd hope us to be much like what you'd fine in places like Reddit or Facebook.

So allow me to say this, gaming is a joke now. Microsoft and Sony in particular have been jokes of themselves.

This conference was more then just a joke but rather an embodiment of how depressing this entire industry has become. The very fact that there were more applause for something like backwards compatibility of 12-15 year old games speaks volumes of just how bad the current state of Western gaming has become.

What did I see so far?
