This game looks fun and all, but I wish we got a more serious pirate game. I'm not even a huge fan of pirates, but Pirates are so under used in video games.

I dont understand the lack of hype for this. this is so inovative. Searching for a treasure with multiple crews trying to steal it from eachother looks so fun to me.

I'd be down with it if treasure was actually a rarity, and it forced players to struggle for it. Like, make even the maps hard to find, and riddles hard to decipher.

when they first announced it, it sounded like it was gonna be a pirate MMO of sorts. now it just looks like a 'basic' co-op game? kinda dissapointing, 'cause PvP, trading, explorations (zones) would be much cooler in a MMO setting.

The artstyle is fine, it helps it stand out. Not everything has to be SUPER DUPER HYPER REALISTIC GRAPHICS all the time. Only a degenerate would be turned off from a game solely because the graphics don't look like every other game.
The gameplay looks kinda fun, but it's hard to gauge given how scripted the presentation was. Hopefully the riddles will be more complex than just telling you where to go, and hopefully there'll be more traps than just "run away from skeletons" and "avoid sharks".

What I'm wondering is what you do besides look for treasure; attacking other players is cool, but what's the incentive to get treasure? Points? Rank? Can you buy stuff? Buy a ship and customize it?
We'll just have to wait and see because the presentation didn't show shit.

Are these smaller instanced servers like DayZ?
Are each of these "adventures" instanced ones you choose from a lobby type setting or are they already in place in the world and you just go find them?

This game might be worthwhile if it had an upgrade system that involved equipping your ship for longer voyages to search for more valuable treasure with a higher risk factor.
