cool fake news
I got mine fixed in three days by requesting it on Nintendo support. Didn't even have to provide proof of purchase.
It was the only issue I had with my Switch.

Why would you have to provide proof of purchase if you obviously bought one

>it's a nintendo official statement on the left joycon issues
Also they note fish tanks within 3 feet can disrupt the signal.

these issues were resolved months ago and anyone affected by it can get it fixed/replaced for free.

Oh god is this going to be a trend from here on out where people don't do resarch and just scream everything is "fake news"

The better question, why was it an issue in the first place? This is why it's a joke forever.
>>379878245
Production issues aren't sorted out that quickly. Switches getting to stores today were in production before they even acknowledged the problem, meaning it's very likely you'll still get these problems by buying a Switch today. Maybe in a few months they'll finally have revision 1 units in stores.

I sent my launch left joycon in for repair and got it back in like four days.
You have to call them, you can't do it online. I know for most of you that will be a problem since it involves actually speaking with another human but I highly recommend it. Fixed my problem of the stick becoming unresponsive on occasion. If I covered the controller I could duplicate it every time. Now it's perfect.
