>game looks good
>its not good
what's it's name /v/?
>>379876993
oblivion
I think about how much fun it would be to play but every time I actually try I wind up quitting within 5 hours
Breath of the Wild, in certain screenshots
>>379877386
disagree, it's a good game
Bayonetta.
Just let me fight enemies, goddamn. I don't care about your platforming sections, poor man's exploration or 5 minute long QTE sessions.
>>379877158
>Oblivion
>looks good
>>379877158
Agreed. I love reminiscing about that game but every time i start it up i realize that i've already done all the quests and seen everything that the world has to offer. It bums me out
>>379877472
this is why I prefer Bayonetta 2 honestly
>>379877617
when I read "looks good" I figured OP meant it int he general sense of "looks good to play"
he was probably talking about graphics though, I guess. so yeah, I'm with you there
Alice Madness Returns
Every Western AAA game
>>379877434
It's objectively shite, m8
>>379876993
Assassin's Creed Unity
>>379876993
Battlefront
>>379878209
the amount of detail is just fucking shocking
>>379878131
>objectively
stopped reading right there
>>379877747
The worst part of Bayo 2 is how many fucking samey giant flying bosses are out there, and those "walk while characters chitchat" moments. But all things considered, it is more fun to play, even if the core combat was kinda botched.
Plus I prefer its weapons, levels and pacing.
>>379877989
For the most part this, at least as of the late-2000's.
>>379877778
Oblivion had good graphics back then.
>>379878335
>and those "walk while characters chitchat" moments
Bayonetta has a lot of those as well though, otherwise I agree.
Battlefront Dice
Far cry 2
>>379878437
oh I know, I remember
but I don't think it has an art style that has stayed good looking. plenty of games don't. it's not really a negative or anything
Starbound is the obvious answer
Fable 3
It was fun when I first got it
But now it feels tedious.
I do regret never doing the DLC
>>379876993
Darksiders.
Space Engineers.
It has so many good concepts and looks so nice, but there's so little to do once you actually get a decent sized ship made. Doesn't help that multiplayer barely works
>>379880172
I liked Darksiders...
>>379876993
Destiny
>>379879473
Far Cry 2 had good ideas, but it was just too fucking repetitive. And the open world didn't have shit to do in it.
Fucking Owlboy.
>>379881031
holy shit FUCK that game.
The first like hour of gameplay sets it up so well like it's going to be this fantastic ride, especially since the core mechanics are pretty solid but then it just goes nowhere at all.
I don't think there's any game that's made me more upset
>>379881031
>>379881391
apparently it had some serious performance issues as well? my best lad told me it only used 2 of the 8 cores on his CPU and raised their temp to a level he wasn't comfortable with (don't remember the actual number)
>>379881620
I don't remember anything like that myself. I have a 6 core AMD, but don't actively monitor internal temperatures because i'm a pleb.
>>379876993
Night in the Woods
I thought the art style was great but holy shit its characters are unlikable as fuck.
>>379876993
I was suspicious about Dragon Age: Inquisition's flaws given Bioware's track record, but for $15 on the Origin sale I gave it a try this morning
Holy fuck that game would've been ass had I not refunded after playing through the first screen. The shiny, fugly characters, and the MMO KB+M controls(worse since you have to hold RMB to pan the camera and strafe with A/D, the only way to play tab targeting games)
Dynasty Warriors 8.
Enemies just dont have any "weight" on them.
>>379878209
Unity's world was so beautifully constructed.
>>379882434
Fucking this.
Also, every game after 5 is shit.
>>379882764
I liked Next.
Homeworld 2
>>379878209
Holy shit. I mean as far as graphics go AC has always been decent but Unity & the britbong one look stunning. I think I like 4 & Rogue the most though, they're not as graphically impressive but the atmosphere in both was great.
To answer OP:
Warframe
Dead Rising 3 & 4Zone of Enders 1. It wasn't awful but it wasn't good either
>>379882434
>enemies have no weight to them
Sounds like every muso, why is it bad here?
>game in development for 3 and a half years
>isn't even 3 and a half hours long
Far Cry 3. The world is beautiful and there are a variety of weapons, vehicles, and locations but it's such a goddamn easy game that it's not very fun.
elite dangerous
couldn't figure out how to survive anything but delivery missions
ME Andromeda - minus the character models it looks fucking amazing. And even some models like Vetra and Drack look damn good but that's about it.
>>379882091
Their personalities were fine IMO, but their contradicting idiocies (that were supposed to be morals against Mae), lack of resolution and their shoehorned-marxism/antifa-ism was what nearly killed it for me.
