Leverage can be useful as an offensive skill. Perfect for throwing explosive canisters or heavy objects at phantoms/mimics and nearly one-shotting them or atleast nearly killing them. Ofcourse it also moves stuff out of the way. However, you can also use Recycler grenades to move big objects blocking a path if you don't have leverage.

Hacking is fairly useful and it helps the hacking minigame is easy peasy. I never put any mods into repair so I can't say but I imagine it's not that useful unless you're going to be using sentry turrets alot.

Hacking. Just make sure you search every nook and you'll have most abilities anyway.

Repair allows you to get a fairly powerful weapon very early.
Hacking is mediocre. There's either passwords or alternate routes for vast majority of things and i feel like password hunting is way more interesting than simply bruteforcing your way through.
Leverage is shit by the most part because of recycler grenades but can be used offensively.
The most important skill to get early is Necropsy

No reason to get anything past Leverage I, since if you throw Leverage I objects into Leverage II objects just right you can usually push them aside
