Help me to understand how a game like Terraria could have been out for a shorter time than Minecraft, yet despite Minecraft borrowing many features and fixes from its community, and its modding community releasing tons of professional-tier content, the core game is still a buggy slow pile of incoherent garbage, while Terraria steamed ahead and added hundreds of pieces of content and made modding almost unnecessary?

I mean, just how bad is the Mojang team to have made the game WORSE despite having a far bigger team and more money and resources to produce a better product?
