Yeah, it's all about trying, moving 1 cm back or on the side, then trying again for a lot of puzzles. A lot of trial and error.

I don't see the problem. It took me only about 40h for a 100% playthrough. It was actually bretty satisfying.

The only annoying thing was the last puzzle with the timer. Fuck that.
The whole game you have infinite time and in the end you get a series of puzzles which all have random answers and you have to solve them really fast. This was just an rng grind for good puzzles.
