Even though the story doesn't take itself as seriously, the environments alone of Bad Company 2 have a ton of atmosphere. Same for Bad Company 1 actually, but the gameplay is so shit it may not be worth it.

Otherwise, COD4 and Black Ops 1 are probably the closest you'll get.

This one pretty much ports the Cold War Crisis campaign from OFP into ArmA3, it has a lot of dependencies though and the troopers use modern uniforms and equipment.

MW2 campaign was decent too, but more so in an over the top action movie way.
