I used to, but I've been playing The Last of Us on grounded mode and doing surprisingly well with not getting spotted.

Observe more. Learning about enemy patrols' routes will show you naturally the path to take to walk among them unseen.

Stealth and fps are the genres I'm best at. I can practically speedrun any stealth game I pick up one I learn how the ai works and acclimate to the game itself.

To be fair, I remember playing the original Dishonored and I noticed that enemy detection is actually kinda spotty. Like, if you abuse quick save/load you'll sometimes get spotted and sometimes get through unseen doing more or less the exact same thing.

Just abuse ur magic powers and you'll be fine.
