I basically just started playing fighting games so im pretty happy doing this after like 10mins in practice mode, I can pull off most of the times in practice but online I did 2 matches and it was harder, I also suck at defending.

pulled off twice the kick combo and once the other one but it was really hard, they either block or rape me
I found harder to just kinda mash the buttons like 1+2+1 and other stuff like that that isnt fancy

Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, KoF and MK/Injustice have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!

If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.

Banjo Ginga is still alive, just retired. He was Heihachi's voice in 1 and 2. The man you're thinking of, Daisuke Gori, slit his wrists in 2010 after he started going blind due to diabetes. He was Heihachi's voice from 3-6. Unsho Ishizuka is his current voice and he played Heihachi in TTT2, SFxTK, and Tekkken Blood Vengeance. I mained Lei in T3 solely because he's the first character that introduced me to the concept of stance mixups. I was so fucking pumped when I figured out you can cancel his db4 into a Snake stance so I immidiately decided to play the shit out of him and git gud. I just love his moves and homages to Jackie Chan stuff, he basically represents my childhood. Hope they 'll add him eventually.
