Yes, Kasumi's and to some degree Kei's aren't exactly the most exciting things in the world if all you care about are the fights and powerlevels, but they have a lot of interesting themes going on and are extremely important for their character interactions and differing viewpoints. I mean the premise for the restrictions and such was great, it just devolved into such utter nonsense that the premise was wasted, I'd have rated it very highly if I'd stopped reading after the first route.

Second route was just a tedious slog, the conflict and it's resolution was both childish and asinine, but that's fine, not for me, w/e it was still decently written just not enjoyable.

Third route was just a clowncar of absolute bullshit one after the other, all suspension of disbelief snapped and the premise fell apart completely, I'd draw a comparison to how mass effect ended but while it was bad, it wasn't quite that bad.

Amayui on hard. The AI is better and "smarter". Now they actually have skills and don't shy away from using them that can straight up murder you early on, so you have to really watch out or just defend until they're out of sp. Luring them into your terriotory/kiting can be effective as well if you have the range. Maps and special events are straight up better than Kamidori. The AI can now just go for your home base if its near it or if the mission has something like 'maintain at least 30% of your territory domination' some of them ignore you and go straight for the objectives.
Also unpopular opinion but I like the monster grinding for now at least since I'm early in the game and will probably come to hate it later but it would be much much better if they did it like Madou Koukaku and you could actually capture them and start creating unique/new units.
On the other hand I do miss stuff like having your shop+Costumes.
Oh and it has a much better cast/character interactions and a meister story finally more related and in line with the dirlifina world which is a plus if you played megami games and like their lore

I'll do both those soon enough. I got greedy and went right for the true ending which isn't worth it at all. It's basically just one piece in a larger puzzle of how they actually got to Stein's Gate. Just one of those steps along the long line of worlds, apparently. You actually have to listen to radio shows and extra material to get the rest. Extremely underwhelming. It would have been a thousand times better if it were just the true ending of the original Steins;Gate from the perspective of either the original Suzuha/Mayuri or the ones traveling back in time to finish it.

Liberation day has a bunch since the captains edition, the main issue with it is that it's extremely linear as opposed to the choices you get in the first game, and you get forced onto the Chigara route while knowing it's a fucking terrible idea, so you're basically made to watch a trainwreck unfold while the MC is too much of a faggot to do anything about it.

Thankfully captains edition is better (people were rather irked by how the main story unfolded, understandably) and it basically revolves around going back and fixing everything the faggot MC fucked up the first time around, with routes and scenes for every character.

I'm currently putting together rough ideas for a VN I'm going to try putting together if I can get a few others to help out with it. Should I make it a straight up VN or how should I handle it?

The plot setup is MC recently transfers into a new region and due to the only other school in the area being full already, he is forced to attend a all girls school. This would be just the start to many events, but soon after attending the school, a succubus appears in his room and offers to strike a deal with him. She will help make him go from being a loser to being able to get laid, but the catch is that in order for her to work her magic on the girls, she will require you to do whatever you can in order to attain the girls panties to put a love spell on them, which will then make that girl become really horny for him.

That's the basic setup for the plot, I'm thinking the overall theme would be humor and poking fun at a bunch of silly shit that pops up from anime, hentai, etc. I have a rough idea of about 6 main girls for routes but they're really simple for now till I can build onto them more.

You have shy/anti-social, refined/rich, tomboy, tsundere, cheerful/aloof, and smart/geek girls. Should I go purely vanilla or allow for certain fetish routes with certain girls? Perhaps add-on few side routes for minor characters like the succubus girl, little sister, etc? I'm open for suggestions as a lot of this is freshly put together and I hope to get working on it here in a few days to a week at most.

I miss the actual Kingdom management from Madou. That's what carried the game for me as well as the element table and unit variety. There was just something fun about quickly developing your magic technology and creating spirit type units early on. They received only 1% damage from physical attacks which was 80% of the game except Ranahaim kingdom who had magic swordsmen.

I also remember owning Ar Cial early by taking a shortcut with a flying route with succubuses and fairies. I left the succubus squads with special ability and reduced their hp gradually to half which took me about 40-50 in game seconds right before the ai decided it was time to heal up. Then I lured their units far enough from base with fairies so that I could finish them off especially Ar Cial before she managed to return to healing. Madou would've been great even with the shitty RTS system IF the ai hadn't been so garbage and kept running out of fortifications.

Is the literal translation of what the German text says. I have no fucking idea what the JP looks like, but the German is incredibly to the point and very pragmatic.
It's not like this is the only time where the German and English are different either, infact it's one of the more minor differences. There are a couple incantations where the English text does not even have the same meaning as the German, like not even remotely.

If you're committed to the mind-control idea (just be aware that your story is going to be generic as muck since the western scene is saturated with either mind-control, NTR or both) then just properly roll with it, make the character fully aware that he's being a horrible human being and give him some motivation for doing so, stories are usually about the protagonist overcoming some form of challenge or difficulty.

So for example your protag gets dumped in an all-girls school and just has to put up with it, while the people there not exactly being welcoming. Have the protag summon/call the succubus on his own accord as part of some revenge ploy that then escalates into him mind-controlling people to come after his dick (or love him, if you care to call it that) once he learns he can abuse that power.

You can easily expand and add to that by including things like a pure love route where the MC turns away from the power (possibly after already having used it, with different results depending on if/how often you did) rather than embracing it and just wooing his waifu traditionally, which the succubus constantly egging him on to use her abilities.

Honestly the main issue I have is that to me, mind-break is on the psychological equivalent of necrophilia, while mind-control is like cutting someones limbs off and dragging their torso along, you can write a good story about those things, but not when you're pretending these are normal happy circumstances.
