Square Enix is officially on my shit list. after sabotaging the story of MD by making Eidos Montreal delay the conclusion until later games, and then canceling them after when it didn't sell enough. Dumb dlc, dumb preorder bonus, dumb microtransaction implementation at the last mniute, story fuckery, idiotic minigames that aren't attached to the main story mode.

ps: the original game was marketed as a "thinking man's shooter". That would be both too sexist and too pretentious in today's market, so now they're called "immersive sims" instead. it was thought of as an fps/rpg hybrid at the time, back when that was a relatively novel concept.
