Why do people even make a big deal about loot boxes in the first place? It doesnt change the core gameplay one bit. In fact if you just focus on the gameplay you'll realize how shitty the game is. I don't see the issue with loot boxes either. Provided you played game enough, you'd get a steady stream of them. Blizzard found a way to make money from the game post-launch without splitting the community.

My biggest problem with lootcrates is that it takes forever to get skins for heroes I want.
Like, I might really like playing Zenyatta and Dva, but in my next load of loot crates I might get 2 legendary hanzo skins and 8 epic skins for characters I don't like playing, and have to wait a whole grind to get the ones I actually want. There's no refund option like Hearthstone so it's just a tedious gamble
