are you living under a rock, the psvr is fucking amazing and literally gets better and better
>>
I'm confused, a got a friend who got bored of it after a week or two

And another friend just got his set, apparently he is in love with the device and says nothing compares to how real everything feels using it, on top of it is light and doesn't make you sweat like a pig like most reviewers on youtube tend to criticize.

My guess is the tech is good, but the content simply isn't there yet, might be a bad idea to get one while there's so little to experience and the device is only gonna get cheaper or better.

your first friend needs to get more games.

the content is good, but not enough of it yet. but the immersive experience is amazing.

i feel jealous of kids born today because by the time they are 20, there will be proper VR experiences with the graphics of battlefield

>condemning it to death with Ace Combat 7 and weeaboo waifu games just over the horizon

It's a decent way to get VR into the main stream. Much better than Google Cardboard. All it'll take is a good number of cross-platform VR games for PSVR, Vive and Oculus and we'll be sitting pretty.

I do, actually. What causes motion sickness is a disconnect between what your eyes perceive and what your vestibular system experiences. Your brain noticies desync between these two and concludes that you must be poisoned, thus it makes you want to vomit. VR sickness and sea-sickness are both very similar in this regard.
It takes a bit of practice to get used to VR and artificial locomotion, just as it takes people to get their "Sea-legs."
This is why people who are new to VR should start with experiences that don't feature any artificial locomotion, or use teleportation as their primary method of getting around and then start working up to games that use more active methods of locomotion.
