so when I travel I take with me this early '06 macbook running 10.6.8. 32-bit core duo, 2gb ram, horrid """'intel'""" powerVR graphics.

So are there any good games where the best version is for Mac OS? So far I've played some multiplats like Wipeout 2097 and Quake III, but it would be great if this thing were actually good for something

PowerVR has nothing to do with Intel. It's probably a dedicated chip.

it's real. Intel licensed some of their integrated gpus back then. And the drivers were HORRIBLE.

Protip: Starcraft for Mac only work on old macs due to latest Mac OS incompatibilities.
Also, I remember playing GTA San Andreas on that using bootcamp.

yeah this is the latest macbook you can really use with powerPC software. Rosetta works OK at least for older games like wipeout. Already played starcraft on windows, but thanks for suggestion.

Maybe this thing could handle GTA. Although you may have had the one with ATI GPU.
