Disappointing after III and VC, quite frankly. Most of what SA added was just unfun bloat, and boy it sure was "fun" when you got halfway into the game and started getting missions that involved driving the length of the map twice to do one dumb task. But hey, getting gang territory was fun. Until you had enough that it got attacked every 3 minutes.

An amazing experience, though I didn't really proper play through it until a few years after it's release. Everything about it was just pure fun. It's still one of my top 3 favorite games and one of the few games I can come back to every couple of years and still have a blast with as much as I did the first time.

The only slightly disappointing thing for SA for me in comparison to VC was not as many properties, but other then that SA felt like a straight up upgrade over everything VC had. Better graphics, less technical issues, a larger world, more expansive missions, more things to do and see, a more fleshed out story.
