try finding one in my 3rd world country, shits fucked
my only options are playing vidya pinball or bite the bullet and buy an overpriced low quality table on e-bay

Yeah the UK is really lacking in that sort of thing. There are a few arcades but they're usually complete shit (minion claw games and those horrible coin push games), and I don't remember ever seeing a pinball machine anywhere.
I just play Kirby's Pinball to get my fix

I'm fortunate enough to own two machines. Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Aspen. Aspen is just a home version, but CE is the full-sized arcade version. Very pretty machine.

The rulesets and element layout on Lawlor machines are just really fun to me. they tend to make for really fast play and combo shots that feel good to hit. http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?searchtype=advanced&ppl=Pat%20Lawlor Is a list of the machines he's designed. Steve Richie is also great just for ST:TNG alone, but he's done a ton of great machines as well.
