Anyone playing Star Trek Bridge Crew?

Does it have a single player mode? If so is it ok?

Fuck yeah. It's amazing. I've spent 20 hours in it so far. The most engrossing and immersive VR multiplayer I've played yet. It's basically an ARTEMIS simulator.

It has a single player mode -- it's the same content as the multiplayer, but with AI crew who's station you can take over.
There's also an update coming soon that will use the IBM Watson voice control system which probably will be really good.
I see no reason to play the singleplayer. Especially since the multiplayer aspect is absolutely the best part of the game. It's absolutely engrossing to do missions with other real live players, especially if they're RPing. Some of the most fun I've had in a multiplayer VR game. Incredibly immersive.
Game desperately needs more content though. If they're smart they'll provide a few free content updates that add more missions, and mission types before they start charging for DLC. There's a reason why people still play bridge commander.
