After the WoW episode of South Park I made a warrior called "luvstospooj" and got a 1 week ban and forced name change

Having played on both sides during vanilla, TBC and Wrath, I can say that in my experience the horde side was way more friendy and nicer than the alliance side. I cant of course speak for all players on both sides but alliance side was filled with rude try hards. Horde had a lot better community back then, cant say anything about the current status of wow

When I played back in vanilla, I only played Horde. But when BC came out, it fucked up the whole underdog thing going on when Blood Elves were 75% of the entire server.

So, naturally, a lot of Horde rerolled to Alliance when new servers for BC came out. I made a Draenei Hunter and killed every single Blood Elf I could just because they ruined the Horde.

Horde has historically been the better side to find a community of players on, typically higher skill level, typically less tryhard.

But there's about 7 realms that can be remotely said to have a community at this point. And far and away this best one is Moonguard Alliance.
I want them to unfuck the momentum talent for havoc so that I can go back and play this stupid game again. I miss those fuckers. The guild I had was in that wonderful sweet spot of laid back but not bad at the game.

I played vanilla-wrath and quit at the start of Cataclysm because the expansion promised everything would be different. But it was the exact same except with more travel time between my daily quests. It was a really uninspired expansion with at the time refreshing leveling but in hindsight it ruined the old world and made WoW a continuity disaster.

Heroics are just an obnoxious barrier for gearing. Always have been.
The only 5 player content that has ever been worth shit was stuff like Strath, Blackrock Depths, the ICC 5 mans, and Return to Karazhan. Stuff that was designed for capped or near capped players in mind from the get go instead of having some numbers adjusted up for capped players. Heroic dungeons were always a boring uninspired excuse for content

Mythic+ with the timers, modifiers, and relevant gear was a significantly better solution but clearly needed more refinement . (I came back for 7.0-7.1.5's start during Legion after quitting in Cata)

Cataclysm was shit and "good heroics" means fuck all in its defense.

i think the gameplay in MoP AND legion is shit
i've played a subtlety rogue for like six years, i have seen my class get completely reworked from the ground up at LEAST twice, and theres another change coming on tuesday.
in the end its literally just "get to a zone, do the objective while pressing 1, 2, 3, 4, and SHIFT 1, 2, 3, 4. I will not pretend like its any bit engaging on ANY of my characters, i play it for the experience and to be with friends online, making up my own stories as i play or just browsing youtube on the side.

I dont understand how people want to keep up a hundred alts at the start of the expansion.
When i was fresh and new i thought "oh boy i have to do all these dailies, there's an achievement for doing FIFTY daily quests in one session how lovely"
then later i was actually fed up with that, but they implemented commendations that let me just breeze through that shit. Near the last few months of pandaria i leveled up and caught up a Brewmaster Monk, an Arms Warrior, a Demonology Warlock, and a fucking Disco Priest because the catch up was so easy.
Same with wod, how the FUCK am i going to grind out a maxed out garrison on ALL my characters! This is bullshit! How am i supposed to get loremaster on all my guys and establish outposts and all thi... oh right catch up mechanics literally let me pick up shit off the floor that was better.

Legion has literally gotten to the point where all the grinding and all the work is finished, even the ELEVEN WEEK questing in the broken shore. I can CREATE a brand new demon hunter TODAY and get him to fucking concordance before the E3 presentations are over.

Balance of power questline:
1. Do all the normal legion dungeons in Mythic mode. No, not Mythic+, the Mythic normal mode that requires you to find a group, walk to the dungeon, and has a weekly lockout. Literally nobody will want to do it with you.
2. Grind out bosses from the emerald nightmare. You need 30 of some bullshit, each boss drops 1-4, if they drop any, and only once a week.
3. Kill the last boss of Emerald nightmare. Oh you already killed him while grinding out the last of your 30 items? too bad wait till next week, fuckass.
3. Do all the advanced dungeons in mythic mode as well, these require you to have progressed the story and get reputation in suramar
4. Grind out THE SAME 30ish SHIT on the nighthold raid this time
5. Fight the last boss of the nighthold haha oops you have to wait till next week AGAIN
