I'm running Prey on hardware from years ago and never had a single crash, only issue I ever had was the Prey logo staying up after I exited the pause menu. That happened one time.

oh sure but I don't know what the problem is and how to fix it, I though about asking on tom's hardware or something but I'm hesitant because I might buy a 1Tb ssd and would need to reinstall windows and everything, so if I bother fixing it now, I'll need to do it all over again later

I have never before played a payed multiplayer game that had this many server outages.
This mixed with problems like peekers advantage is seriously annoying.
It woudn´t be that bad if Siege wasn´t actually so good, but the technical problems are really ruining it.

I just don't understand how Ubisoft can cock up Siege as much as they do?

It is becoming one of their best games, with lots of players, and even people willing to buy their cosmetic overpriced shit. They have dedicated fans of the series and game.

How inexperienced are the people working on the Siege team that literally any time they do anything, it fucks the game up in some way? I know they're a small team, but holy shit, there is no way the game can be as fucked up as it is at all times?

How can the game be so poorly made that it just breaks constantly?

You could atleast try monitoring the temperatures with a program like Speccy or Speedfan to see if that is the culprit.

Of course you can always edit the files and download the custom executable, but this shit should install by itself. You'd think they could just add those files to the steam servers and install them automatically as an update, but no, they won't.
