The game has an ending for every letter of the alphabet.

Only 5 of them matter (A,B,C,D,E). They come sequentially - you wont miss them.

The rest are all joke/circumstantial quick endings. They do not matter.

Anything else would be spoiling. It's not constant repeats of the same game either (aside from A and B).

regardless of any of this it is one of the most questionable and bizarre design decisions i have EVER made and it was a poor decision. I understand for story purposes but story cannot be allowed to drive gameplay, it works the other way in video games.

The only permanently missable one is Ending Y. LET EMIL'S COUNTDOWN TIME OUT, in the desert fight, if you finish him off then you can't get Ending Y.

As for it being a chore, not really. You unlock chapter select after the C/D route. The only one that felt painful to get was waiting out 2B's virus infection at the start of route C/D.
