After 100%-ing it, it's clear it's a game with half-assed QA testing/bug fixing/gameplay balancing but with high professionalism in terms of art, presentation, etc.

They nailed the atmosphere and characters of the N64 platformer style they were going with, but they absolutely fucked up when it came to gameplay balancing, level design, bug fixing, and polish. It was like "Hey guys, we made all our assets and threw a game together, it should be good to release now".

All in all it wasn't a bad game, but the lack of polish and sheen prevent it from being as good as the games it was trying to emulate. I'd give it a light 6, hard 7.

waiting for switch version. looking forward to it. seems that most of the complaints are "this n64 style platformer is too much like an n64 style platformer."

I don't know what it is, but I enjoyed it. I see so many criticizing it and explaining their reasoning but a lot of their issues with the game I just don't see or had with it, I feel like a contrarian about it and I try to understand different points of views a lot of the time but I'm at a loss for words with this one.
