I mostly just did that with the inner god weapons. Felt wrong to shove them in a pile. Probably should have put them in a museum or something.

I haven't played in a couple months, probably closer to a year. I catch up on the patches though. Elona+ is constantly moving forward which is just great. Elona Custom is apparently pretty darn good to and allows Elona+ to have the jap cutscenes and such. There's some changes not everyone agrees with. A lot of cracking down on save scumming and promoting platinum over other resources. Effects people in different ways. Personally I only have qualms with the plat thing, limiting playstyles is silly. That said there's a lot of promotion of different "classes", if you want to call them that. My last character was a full blown Necromancer. Not as some bonus thing, but as the exclusive source of damage. They buffed that playstyle since I last played too. I know they added some stuff for thrown and I think charisma based skills too.

All in all, same as usual: content content content, really surprising rate of release. Community is still super small but just the best. You hang out in the /jp/ thread much at all?

I wrote /jp/ a guide on it once I got far enough and took a break from the character. It's very slightly outdated as they've added an item that fuses undead but I think that's temporary. So this should still hold.

I went on an obsessive spirit journey to beat Deus Ex Mani-na, Mani of Machine's inner god. Whole thing happened to my first character where he blew up my shop. Took a very, very long time to learn the game well enough and then the 400+ hours in that screenshot to actually put it to use. Had a great time doing it though. Decided to burn through the whole pantheon because what's a few more hours farming for wish rods?

The main person behind Elona Custom hangs out there and she'll probably end up seeing it. That sort of flavor thing is exactly what the mod seems to be focusing on.
