It's not that big of a deal, anon. Not many people were banned. Even if you were, you'd lose out on playing maybe 3 or 4 games online. There isn't that many good multiplayer games besides Mon Hun, Pokemon, and Mario Kart.

I was banned. I only played MK7 online and I have another clean 3ds so I don't care. I'll cop Ultra Sun and then if I like it enough I'll buy it for my clean 3ds.

hacked it when 11.0 was easily hackable to 11.2, haven't updated it because I wasn't sure if I should update luma/arm9l before system update
