Is Gaunter O'Dimm our guy?
>>379642383
Yes.
He's everyones guy.
But the question is, is Olgierd our guy?
>>379643620
yes
he did nothing wrong
>>379643620
OLGIERD DID NOTHING WRONG
Game over.
>>379643620
David Beckham did nothing wrong
>>379644350
I never actually took the choice to help Olgierd
I was too intimidated to stick my neck into affairs that didn't involve me. I feel bad for Olgierd but fuck dude, I ain't messing with a higher power

Hang yourself right now in front of your family.
Gaunter
O'
DimmYou may now scream

aaaaaaa

He's God

Actually the devil.
So I somehow assumed that
>G aunter
>O '
>D imm
's initials are very intentional but I never bothered checking how he's called in the kurwa localization and if his name gets changed accordingly in other languages
I reckon a wiki should inform me of this
>>379645847
Maybe, I'm also too lazy to check it out.

>Literally makes a deal with you on the crossroads
>Even has an offical (verbal) contract
>Is known to fuck you over due to your wording of a wish
>only way to 'defeat' him is to trick him
How did all this not make a light pop up in your head? He's the textbook example of a crossroad demon. The fact he chose his initials to spell GOD is obviously one of his shenanigans.

Couldn't find anything in http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Gaunter_O'Dimm
If there's nothing, I assume it's his name at least in polish. Non-English wikis tend to be pretty awful so I'm not sure they'll be documented enough.
Is the combat really that bad? I'm mostly play M&B, though.
>>379645847
The name is the same in Polish, so I assume it's the same case with other languages. The whole DLC is actually a reference to a well known Polish folk tale, with O'Dimm playing the role of the Devil.

Don't expect Souls level focus on combat and precision, and it's perfectly good andfun.
>>379646694
The complaints against the combat are greatly exaggerated, just like everything /v/ says. It gets a bit repetitive for a 100+ hour game, but it mostly holds up thanks to of how fluid it feels, and how satisfying the dismemberment effects are.
>>379646694
It's all right. It's just that /v/ desperately tries to find some "arguments" against the game and they stack to this.
>>379646694
It's simple, but fluid. Takes some getting used to, and fights against crowds of enemies take a long time if you're good at the game and know when to look for openers.
You don't ever really need to lock on either.
It's pretty fun

I wrote "I assumed that thje initials are very intentional"
Is Heart of Stone one of the best DLC and writing in vidya?
I'm partial to the Bloody Baron and it's heavy hitting but respectfully done material, but Heart of Stone is an easy favorite

Gaunter was a demon you tard

The von everec estate/painted world dragged way too long and heavy handed for me. The rest of the story is top notch tough.
DUDE FAUST LMAO
