As someone who plays online, it's really bland most of the time, there's some cool monster designs and stuff but in general it's just kinda weird.

The hunter sets system means you can just build some stupid crazy custom armour set that gives you like a million bonuses so you breeze through anything that isn't super endgame without even the beginning of a worry and all the new monsters are shit even if they look rad.

-The hunting grounds and the hub/home have no loading screens, and you can change armors freely
-Bring back arm wrestling
-Rather than wandering around once the paintball runs out, you can climb trees to spot the monster

Exactly, which is why when I use an aerial style Insect glave or an adept long sword I completely break the game because monsters react very poorly to jumping (and a mount gives you as much free-hits time as a trap, making the hunt waaay too easy) and being able to dodge+attack in one move with adept drastically cuts the hunt time by 50%+ because repositioning is taken out of the equation. Now EVERYONE can be a counter lancer, only with even more movement and more damage.

Also hunter arts are on every style, including Guild, so even Guild is OP by comparison to old MonHuns. And I also complained about the newer weapon movesets being OP (rapid-fire, gunlance normal shot ground slam + full burst, etc) and armor skills getting more and more ridiculous - none of which you even mentioned.
