It's because it's one of the easiest games that has nothing special to it. It also took up a returning game slot in Megamix which is inexcusable. Heck, the only time it's actually hard to not get a superb is in Megamix itself, same with the star.

Why was Megamix so fucking bad?
>Forced to play Easy versions of the minigames before you can get to the Standard ones. By the time you get to the Standard versions of the minigames you're already use to them, making them easy.

I really wish Rhythm Heaven got some recognition in Smash, like how it was rumored for awhile to have the chorus kids or a stage. Would have been cool.

I don't even know how it would work. Rhythm Heaven barely has characters, let alone violence.

I find it saddenning that out of all of Nintendo's surprisingly large stable of rhythm games, this is the one they decided to make into a series. i genuinely think that Nintendo has a problem with having more than 1 game franchise in a genre, and I think Rhythm heaven is keeping another Elite Beat Agents from being made.

Rhythm Heaven has only 1 more game than the Ouendan/EBA series, and there's also the Band Brothers games.
I think it's more about the other 2 series being too license dependant, and in EBA's case might be something related to iNiS.
