Fix rage breaking set knockback hitboxes, reduce ledgesnap, buff the shit characters, make shields regen slower or nerf perfect shields or something to give more reasons to approach, fix untechable walls.

Things that would be nice:
Give omega stages platforms so we have a better stagelist, fix fucked up knockback scaling in singleplayer modes, add singleplayer modes that aren't just 8-character fuckfests, add smash run or an adventure mode or something, fix janky weird hitboxes (pacman's awful grab, bowser's dashgrab, attacks that don't chain, fox's offstage footstool combo), make custom stages actually usable and make it possible to send them to a lot of people at the same time for tournament reasons, ping counter at character select in for glory.

Ice Climbers probably won't happen if they want to keep the rosters the same. Squirtle and Ivysaur were mostly tied to the the Pokemon switching gimmick (though could come back I guess, if at risk of overloading the Pokemon).

They'd need a hell of an overhaul if they are to over come back (which is unlikely) and I say that as someone who liked Pichu. Which is why I have Brawl Minus to fill the void.

Because they were meant to be costumes, but got promoted at the last second. When Roy came back, they actually put effort into him rather than copy-pasting Marth and tweaking a few things like they pretty much did in Melee.

It's a weird sort of Luigi-fication scenario where the original character changes, but the clones stays the same (they did the same with Doctor Mario). That, along with the new animations and tweaks to the Final Smash does show some effort was put into Roy.
