Definitely give a look at the currently released stuff first. Since it's almost 4 now, it has a lot of older and cheap games so I'd suggest you start with those first since by the time you finish them the new stuff out now will be on discount.

Dont. As someone who also did Nintendo + PC I went got a PS4 about a year ago. There is literally nothing to play on the system, requires you to pay for online, is constantly getting its firmware updated, and the actual hardware is a joke.

Be warned though, the PS4 as a console is absolute garbage that will honestly make you laugh by moments.
