I love Zelda and wish I felt this way. I've never been so disappointed by a game than by Breath of the Wild. My own fault for overhyping it, though.

As far as the visual style, it's alright. Looks best when you'e just walking around. Unfortunately, the game doesn't even work as a walking simulator late-game, with the ninjas, stalblins and red beast lasers taking up the skyline. There's just not enough variation in terms of setting and monsters either. The shrines should have been as opportunity to break up the sameness of the overworld, but they just add another layer of sameness.
