There was that one year they announced Portal 2 for the ps3 and Gabe himself was on stage during the ps conference.

HL2 is one of my favorite single player FPS games, but I just know for a fact they can't do anything interesting with HL3 today. I'd rather have a L4D3 or Portal 3.
