Who's to blame for fucking it all up, Rocksteady or WB?
>>379588982
It wasn't too bad, I liked it. Arkham knight was a technological marvel, still, I wish they didn't include the whole world of tanks thing.

AC>AA>AK>AO
Is the true tier stop lying.
Rocksteady made one good game. Fuck capeshit. Urban Chaos sequel when?
>>379588982
They were all good
How the fuck do you not fall asleep playing through combat in these games?
>>379589873
This faggot knows what he's talking about
>>379588982
Game was fine.
>Story
AC > AA > AO > AK.
>Gameplay
AK > AO > AC > AA.
>Map Design
AC=AO>AA>AK.
They were all enjoyable titles though. That being said, I still would love for a Beyond game. And WB is to blame, since they didn't bother to expand the universe with other titles.
>>379588982
Aidan Gillen
>>379590290
It's not literally two button combat anon.
>>379590010
That game was mediocre you little cunt
If it wasn't for the damn Tank bullshit all the god damn time, AK would have been perfect.
That said, AA is the best overall, but AC/AK are still gat damn amaze. AO can hang out I guess.
>>379590450
I thought Arkham Knight had a great story if you don't count the bit with the actual Arkham Knight.
Origins had the most sluggish feeling combat
>>379590528
>simple but satisfying
Tank combat was the same as the melee imo.
>>379589141
>AK > AC
AK was shit for narrative and gameplay kept getting fucked up the ass with tank battles going through the game.
>>379590614
The tank gameplay was fine, but it became to common, and forced. It really felt akward as they tried to shove the Batmobile into nearly every god damn scenario.
Some of the puzzles with it were clever enough, though.
>>379588982
>AA is a classical tightly packaged video game
>AC and AK are modern open worlds with ubisoftian shit
>AA was published by Eidos, with WB helping
>WB bought Rockstead after it and published AC and AK and hired another studio to make AO inbetween to pump out more cash
Oh, I wonder who's to blame.
>>379590450
>AA not best map design far and away past all others
The dick you were taking up your ass must have gotten all the way to you brain anon.
>>379590578
Really? I loved Arkham Knight, outside of the vehicle stuff, but the whole "Lol you got me Scarecrow I'm Bruce Wayne, but I'm also The Joker, and The Arkham Knight is Jason! fooled ya good XD" was rather lame. And I'll never forgive them for what they did to the Beyond costume.
Origins was a glitchy mess, especially the combat, but damn if it wasn't enjoyable still. I loved the Cold, Cold Heart DLC.
I will say though; I wish every boss fight in the series had taken a page out of Mr. Freeze's in AC. Man, that was a well designed fight.
>>379590578
they should've just replaced AK with the actual red hood from the beginning, even if it spoiled comic fans
>>379590578
>>379590707
AK story is only bad if you've been exposed to Jason Todd's story in the comic books, it's a nice retelling of it in the Arkhamverse.
>>379590772
AC was better than AA. Sorry friend.
>>379590578
it would have been OK if it weren't for joker being in every other scene, lack of many encounters with scarecrow and the knight's identity.
>>379590614
i didn't buy batman to play tank battles though.
AK was the best because of its tragic story and fun tank sections. I can only say I disliked some of the riddler puzzles that required you to take photos of places.
AK was the culmination of the gameplay in the series. The car was only forced for some missions and lots of riddler trophies, if you think the mandatory car parts in any way make this game bad, you're delusional.
Go back and replay AA. Other than a competent "Asylum has been taken over by bad guys! Oh noes!" story we've seen 39 times and atmosphere, which continues as the series went on, the game is very barebones. The gameplay is laughable near City's, let alone Knight's.
>>379590860
>AC was better than AA
>this is what Tooiefags actually believe
>>379590847
>AK story is only bad if you've been exposed to Jason Todd's story in the comic books
No it's pretty bad on its own merits.
Also it's worse if you got your hopes up with the "leaks" the year before.
>>379590847
A couple hours before you unmask the Knight, they hit you with three cutscenes that show not only Jason's story and that he exists in this universe, but also that he hates Batman. They weren't even trying to hide it after that point.
>>379591331
>getting hopes up from "leaks"
You faggots only have yourselves to blame.
>>379591552
It wasn't supposed to be a twist, it was supposed to be a tragic build up to Batman finding Jason. The Joker stuff and Barbara being alive were the twists.
>>379588982
Battank was the worst fucking mechanic in the game, just boring and over fucking used.
Rest of the game was cool.
>>379591723
Sorry for expecting professional quality writing from professional quality writers. Although considering two of the writers were FPS scifi writers it's no surprise what came of it.
>>379590509
The fuck did you just say to me?
>>379591743
Except it was supposed to be a twist, The devs even said in an interview that it wasn't jason todd
My problem with AK is for the past 3 games we had the "bad guys have taken over" situation which was fine for AS and AC but got stale after AC. AK should have been a populated Gotham, Batman in his element, all of that but instead we got another AC only weaker. and when they did do things right like the DLC in unique locations, they were way too short.
>>379588982
>AK
>Not good
There was nothing wrong with the Batmobile and it's probably the only thing in all the Atkham games that required effort in getting gud with.
AK worst parts are the tank mobile combat and the initial pc performance issues.
fortunately it was patched out and everything else was top tier.
>>379592719
Nah, dude, hacking was fucking broken, you get 5 tanks to fight for you and you're done. It was so fucking repetitive too. I think the only challenging fight is battank vs 60 tanks.
>>379590778
Beyond costume will never look good. It looks amazing in the cartoon because of that art style they used for it and it works very well, but beyond that (heh) it just doesnt work.
>>379588982
But i liked it.
>>379595091
I don't know anon I think it looks good outside of the original art style.
>>379589141
>>379589873
I enjoyed Origins way more than Knight.
>>379596593
>I enjoyed Arkham City 0.25 over Arkham Knight
>>379595801
Yes but see how angular it is? If you dont Have that going, the suit doesnt look good, even in that pic he looks sort of fat.
I dont know, im not a big fan of the suit personally. I mean its fine and all that but im such a big fan of the cape that batman regularly has, especially in cartoons where it encases the whole body, makes him look bigger and more menacing than just being in that tight suit.
>>379589141
AK>AC>AA>AO
Knight was amazing I put in over a hundred hours into it. Best gampleay in the series by far
>>379596816
I can understand that I myself have always believed Bruce's Batman should have a huge cape to enhance his profile but Terry isn't Bruce so the sleek, demon-like, appearance of the Beyond suit works well for him.
>>379593798
I meant more of the driving. I think more people have a problem with the riddler challenges over the enemy tanks.
>>379590290
Do you play DMC by just pressing Triangle Triangle Triangle? It's similar in this gmr, you can technically beat most small thugs by just pressing square and triangle, but to actually get good xp and rewards, you have to use all gadgets and all attack variations, while keeping in mind that some enemies are weak to beatdowns, other to eletrical discharges, other to timed counters etc.
It's an accessible system, but far from braindead if you're playing on Hard or on Hard with prompts turned off.
>>379597656
>tfw hard with prompts turned off isnt avaliable without having beaten the game first.
Only real complaint I had about the games overall.
>>379588982
It was fine on console, just they never need to release it on PC ever again.
If they do that they have a sure success.
