One of the best games this year. Most threads are infested with a shitposter who posts this one bait tier list, so if they pop up, just ignore them. Abilities are a little bland though, and progression is slow but steady. There's also a good amount of backtracking.

It's kind of easy and boring at the start, and the combat doesn't feel like it has that much room to grow with how simple it is. I've only beat the first two bosses, but I did so without even coming close to dying once.
Everything else about the game is good so far though. If you've already played all the top metroidvanias it's definitely worth a go.

Currently in the middle of it. It's definitely easy to get lost in the world, even with a map. But the combat's pretty good (if a little floaty sometimes) and the music/art are amazing. I'd recommend it.

It's an okay Metroidvania, but I honestly got more mileage out of "pixelshit garbage" like Risk of Rain or even Downwell.
If you want an artsy game go for it, but the game's really shallow, I've even had more fun overall with Salt&Sanctuary despite it having a way worse artstyle and animations when it comes to characters.
