Greetings. Before I goI'll go to the point, please excuse any grammatical errors, I'm French. A few months ago, my contract with Ubisoft came to an end and I decided to cut the strings with the company and work as a freelance artist, thus not renewing my contract due to some personal issues I had with the company. I was in charge of a part of the wildlife which I took credit for as a part of my portfolio.

Ubisoft uses L.M.I.3D technology to make their environment resources and it's quite smart and easy and makes a huge difference in the overall quality.
Whether you believe it or not I did work at Ubisoft at some point in my life, it's a bit hard for me to show some kind of "proof", E3 is not far away and Ubisoft might just show a part of my environment in a trailer or something.
wow you mean a game set in montana has fields and mountains and rivers?
Wow awesome graphics

Continue, I want to see more.
Looks awesome. And absolutely NOTHING like the actual footage we had seen in the trailer. Not even close to it. Which is curious.
The mountain in the image can be seen in the very first trailer with the yellow plane flying right above it on the other side. Of course not every part of the map is showcased in the first trailer.
The mountain can also be seen in 00:58 in the background.

The view distance as well as the actual dimensions of the terrain are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
The fucking trailers showed clearly warped dimensions of the actual landscaping (unsurprising, it's how you do it in games most of the time), this shows more realistic terrain scale, which is not happening.

The image I've posted is a part of the mountain seen in the trailer which is not shown in the trailer itself.

The detail that Ubisoft's environment team has been putting in the map is incredible. With L.M.I.3D, a terrain like that is actually possible.
Far cry 5 will also have a Switch port
