I just recent'y completed Shido's Palace last night and am in that lay over time between me leaving the palace and him confessing and I have a couple of questions.

Akechi knew the identities of the Phantom Thieves. In case evil plot went left, why didn't he share any of their identities with anyone else since he was bad the entire time?

Also, the first things that Fag Shido said after waking up is that he must atone.I finished the palace in 2 days so that's 20 days his staff is going to hold on to him. Why wouldn't someone in his staff kill him first before he spills the beans?

Honestly, none of the girls are very good. I don't know whether it's shoddy translation or just bad writing, but almost none of them have any personality. I've considered the 1st option for some time. It was something they could have done but couldn't do it in the end. Hell if I know the reason.
The 2nd option could work with upgrading the security level of palaces, maybe even bringing the standard level closer to SMT games so that completing the palaces in one try will be harder/need some serious grinding. But then again casual gamers play this mainly for the dating sim aspect.
